What to Expect
Whether you have a long history of being a part of a church or whether you have never been to church at all, we know that coming to church for the first time can be hard. You're not quite sure what to expect, and as you are scoping things out, you may have lots of questions. Here at Grace, we want to give you the best experience possible.
What type of church is Grace?
Grace is a love-driven Southern Baptist church with people in worship from a variety of backgrounds. Whether you've been attending church for years or this is your first time, you'll feel welcome at Grace.
WhAT TIME IS YOUR SERVICE?
Our service is at 11:00am and is intentionally blended and geared to be multi-generational. The service is Gospel-centered and aims to give God and God alone the glory.
What is the service like?
The service is about 1 hour. In the first 5-15 minutes of the service, we worship God through song. We’ll have the words to each song up on the screen, so you can sing as much as you feel comfortable. After we sing, we welcome everyone and give some brief announcements. Then we will jump right into the day’s teaching. Each message is 25-30 minutes long and takes eternal Biblical principles and applies them to your life. You will have a place to take some notes and something to write with. You may find that you want to review something you learned later in the week.
What should I wear?
Be comfortable. Wear whatever you feel comfortable wearing. You will not feel out of place. People wear everything from shorts, jeans, t-shirts, to coat-and-tie. Most people wear casual to business casual. Come as you are.
How do I get there?
We are located at 3901 Raeford Rd in Fayetteville. Click HERE for a link to Google Maps.
Where do I park?
As you arrive, you will see an A-Frame that points to parking behind the church. Due to hurricane damage, we currently meet in our fellowship hall. When you park you will see an overhang that leads to two double doors. That is the main entrance. You can pull beneath the overhang to drop passengers off closer to the entrance if needed. Once inside, you'll see a coffee table ahead of you. To your left will be Children's check-in and to the right is the fellowship hall, where we will have the service. Feel free to pour yourself some coffee, get your kids checked in, and make your way into the fellowship hall for worship.
What about my kids?
We have Children's church available for K - 5th grade. We will also have nursery and childcare available for infants and toddlers. As you enter the building, we will make sure to get your kids checked in and keep them in a safe and Gospel-centered environment.
